I created an online lesson for Finding Expected Value. Many of the students in the entry level statistics courses need a refresher for working with fractions, so the lesson begins with adding and subtracting fractions. Students are given 2 practice problems and if the select an incorrect answer they are taking to a page that provides hints. I also included an option to view directions for using the Ti-Nspire CX to work with fractions. In the next section of the lesson, students learn what a probability distribution is and how to create a probability distribution table. Then they are ready to calculate expected value. The lesson ends with a short assignment. I also included links to 2 videos on an extras page and some instructor directions on a separate page. Math content is tough to create without using images for the equations. I tried to add alt text for most of the images, but need to recreate the tables to enable a screen reader to work properly with the site.
